Let’s have the low down, how old are you, how long you been skating, and what do you do?

I’m 16, I’ve been skating nearly 6 months and I’m currently studying computer science at collage.

Ah nice! What do you want to do with that then?

I would most likely go to university or apply for an apprenticeship in a related field, however since I’m still in my first year, I’m keeping my options open.

Good that you’re keeping options open mate, life is mad, think you’re gonna do one thing then do something completely different!

So do you have any plans for summer? Trips away skating or anything?

Definitely! Only young still so plenty of time to decide. As for summer, I haven’t got anything planned for definite. I would really like skate some of the costal skateparks, as well as visiting other cities and skating some cool street spots!

Sick, yeah definitely get to some of the coastal parks, Hornsea, Withernsea and Filey are great to name a few!

So, what do you think to Hull having a physical shop then? We were just going to do online but thought how rad it would be for people to actually come into the shop and check stuff out!

Oh yeah absolutely, you never know what’s just around the corner. As for hull having a physical shop, it’s definitely the way to go. Having the ability to walk in and browse the selection of boards to see how they actually feel is something you really don’t get with online stores - almost feels like a gamble. That, along with how good you are at advising people the best parts to choose really helps the shop in a way that it couldn’t if it was online. Definitely the best decision you could have made.
