So Mal, give us the low down, how old are you and what got you into skating?

I’m 16 years old, and I got into skating from my brother Oli, he taught me how to do my first ollie… excuse the pun.

What are you doing at the moment, school, college etc.?

At the moment im doing music B tech & Art GCSE, basically just hanging out seeing where life takes me.

What do you like best about having a local Skate store in Hull?

I like that you it really easy to get too, it is a lovely place to chill and watch clips, while watching you or others putting boards together.

Nice man props to the bro, so how long have you been skating?

I’ve been skating for 3 years, it’s helped me through so much, as an amazing outlet for mental health problems and such.

Yeah I remember you saying in the store you was doing music, sounds rad dude hope you get to do something with it!

Yeah, me too. I want to get my name out there for sure.

Sweet man, that is what I wanted from the shop for people, nice community feel, meet up, chill, actually get to look and see products in person, to make sure it is right.

Definitely, you know the shop is amazing I’m glad to see how far it has come for real.

So you have just recently been added to the ‘Quay Homies’ crew, hows that?

The homies crew is fire. I’m really stoked to be a part of it. It is an amazing opportunity and idea. Thanks man.

Yes I have plans for a new part, it is going to be rad, so stay tuned!
